Cute Cookie Trio Free Crochet Pattern

Hey everyone! We're back with another crochet amigurumi pattern- well, more like three 🍪


These cookies share the same base but have different toppings. We cover how to make three in this post (pictured below), but there are so many ways to customize them! Valentine's Day is almost here, so it's time to bust out some creativity if you're making one for a friend. Maybe red frosting with the bright pink sprinkles?

Description


The Cute Cookie Trio is an all-in-one pattern that covers how to crochet the Black & White, Frosting & Sprinkles, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are life-size, have a slight squish to them, and present the most adorable smiles. Who wouldn't love to crochet a set (or more) of these irresistible little treats?

Create mr

Rnd 1: Sc 6 in mr (6)

Rnd 2: Sc twice in each st around (12)

Rnd 3: *Sc in next st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (18)



Rnd 4: *Sc in each of next 2 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (24)

Rnd 5: *Sc in each of next 3 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (30)

Stuff the piece lightly

Draw the hole closed, fasten off, and hide remaining yarn endings. To flatten the piece, sew the bottom and top of the cookie together several times. Refer to the pictures below or this video for guidance.






Chocolate Chip Cookie

With brown yarn, sew overlapping loops in several spots across the top of the cookie to create the chocolate chips. Refer to the image to the right or watch this video for additional guidance (Coming this week).


Frosting and Sprinkles Cookie

Frosting (in White yarn)

Create Mr

Rnd 1: Sc 6 in mr (6)

Rnd 2: Sc twice in each st around (12)

Rnd 3: *Sc in next st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (18)



Rnd 4: *Sc in each of next 2 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (24)

Rnd 5: *Sc in each of next 3 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (30)

Rnd 6: *Sc in each of next 4 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (36)

Rnd 7: *Sc in each of next 5 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (42)



Rnd 8: *Sc in each of next 6 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd. Sl st in next st (48)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew along the circumference of the frosting to attach it to the cookie. For the sprinkles, sew scattered loops across the frosting in a brightly colored yarn (we used pink). Refer to the image below or this video for guidance (Coming this week).


Black and White Cookie

Frosting pieces (Make 2, one brown and the other white)

Create Mr

Rw 1: Sc 3 in mr. Ch 1, turn (3)



Rw 2: Sc twice in each st. Ch 1, turn (6)

Rw 3: *Sc in next st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (9)

Rw 4: *Sc in each of next 2 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (12)

Rw 5: *Sc in each of next 3 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (15)



Rw 6: *Sc in each of next 4 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (18)

Rw 7: *Sc in each of next 5 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (21)

Rw 8: *Sc in each of next 6 st. Sc twice in following st. Rep from * to end of rnd (24)



Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Sew along the edges of the frosting pieces to attach to the cookie. Refer to the picture to the right or this video for guidance (Coming this week).











Place the eyes approximately between rounds 6 and 7, separated by 2 stitches. Use the glue to keep the eyes in place. The smile is sewn on round 8 with two loops using a small amount of black yarn.
